Here are some photos from when I went to the Gabby Young gig. They were really good, everyone should see them.
I also have some new ideas for work I want to create over the next few months. This includes photos (some of which have been taken but not edited), drawings, text based work and a written piece intended to be a starting point for a series of books and/or films.

The finished Gabby Young And Other Animals tour poster. I have recently found out that mine is being used to advertise the whole tour and will be on sale at each of the venues.

This is where I am with the poster at the moment.

I am really excited as I have some cool stuff going on in the near future with some of my art. Gabby Young And Other Animals (See 'Ones That Got Away' post) will be using one of my sketches in the sleeve of the re-release of their first album (which is a brilliant bunch o'songs) and I am also working on a limited edition poster design which will be used on their tour and be available to buy! Updates to come!

This is great. I saw it at the Pop Life show at Tate Modern last year.

eyes and saints.

Some recent photos. The patron saint of television, hot weather and my swollen eye. I have also started developing some ideas for new drawings which I hope to start soon now that my PGCE is over.

make it stop.

One of the many things I liked when I saw Lady Gaga back in February were the visuals she had playing in the intermissions. I found this video the other day of one of my favourite ones. The music is pretty ace too.

I found this earlier. I took it about a year ago. It's quite nice.
Today I:

  • got my hair cut. Feelings = unsure.

  • spent too much in Sainsbury's.

  • tried to do some uni work but did other things instead.

  • enjoyed walking around town in the sunshine.

This is one of a few new sketchbook drawings I have done. Because of my teaching course I haven't had much time to make any major new things since last summer. But, I have been having ideas and working in sketchbooks is always good.

Some photographs. Of thingzzzzz. These were taking at various different times.

First post.

Some old work. This is from my BA Degree Show during the Summer of 2009. I called this 'Sparks of Lust'. I was exploring ideas relating to how we rely on the development of technology and medicine to replace/satisfy our human needs.
